Marx Olive Oyl & Wimpy plastic figures Popeye comic strip characters Holland

Description

Two of the many Marx figures sold in the ‘dime’ stores in the 1950’s, these were factory painted in Holland. Olive Oyl, Popeye the sailors ‘sweet patootie’, is approximately 2 & 1/2” tall.  She was carefully cut from her original plastic base for some reason and has been affixed to a cardboard base so that she can stand. Hard to find in any condition. J. Wellington
Wimpy, a.k.a. Wimpy the Moocher,
is approximately 2 & 1/2” tall and
in good physical condition. Both figures have sustained some minor paint loss, a common problem with figures painted in Holland.

You will get the items as stated in the description and as shown in the photos.  Being sold as is. No returns will be accepted so please ask questions and bid accordingly.
We do not smoke tobacco and we do not have any pets – except each other.
Insurance on orders under $50 is not automatic but it is recommended; I pack items very well but if your package is lost or damaged by the postal service, I will not be responsible.
Orders totaling over $50 will automatically be insured for your protection; the cost is included in the Shipping/Handling fee. If you choose to decline insurance and assume the risk, please ask for a revised invoice.
Whenever possible, I will always combine and reduce shipping & handling on multiple purchases.
