Gorgeous and Rare – 915 silver lidded horseradish pot with matching spoon – art nouveau style – circa 1935 – the pot is on a raised foot and in the form of a stylized oyster shell – the c-form handle is in the form of a dolphin – both spoon and pot are marked with the 5 pointed star – Spanish 915/1000 standard silver and maker’s mark a chalice within a hexagon for maker Dionisio Garcia – silversmith to King Alfonso XIII of Spain (1886-1941).  Pot measures 4 x 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches – Spoon 2 5/8″ long – total weight is approximately 2 ounces on my postal scale – I have left both pieces completely tarnished as I found them – otherwise excellent vintage condition.
