— TRIBUTE TO NURSING —
Mint, Never Hinged, Block of Four Vintage U.S. Postage Stamps
These stamps, which feature a student nurse lighting her graduation candle, were issued on December 28th, 1961 to pay tribute to the Nursing Profession. They would look especially nice framed (they are not mounted to any surface when shipped) and would make a great gift for anyone in (or entering) a career in nursing. Included with the block is the information insert shown in the pic.
This block is guaranteed to be fault-free with full, original, never hinged gum and is just as fresh as when it was purchased in a post office 60 years ago!
Please note that the stamps are not mounted to any surface. Because of the white borders of both the stamps and the insert, they have been scanned against a black background for a clearer view of both the stamps and the card. The original gum on the stamps has not been disturbed in any way. All stamps are shipped in protective glassine envelopes.
