Mint, Never Hinged, Block of Four U.S. Postage Stamps
Issued on the same day as John Glenn’s historic “First American to orbit the Earth” mission, these U.S. postage stamps celebrated the NASA achievement.
Guaranteed to be fault-free with full, undisturbed, original gum (it is not mounted to the black background on which it was scanned). Also included is the information insert shown. It would look great framed and would make a great gift!
Please note that the stamps are not mounted to any surface. Because of the white borders of both the stamps and the insert, they have been scanned against a black background for a clearer view of both the stamps and the card. The original gum on the stamps has not been disturbed in any way. All blocks are shipped in protective glassine envelopes.
