Attractive c1940s Spanish MCM Silver Graduated Wine Bottle Candlesticks
Presented is a stylish set of three graduated height Spanish silver candlesticks, dating to around the 1940s-1970s. The form of these Midcentury Modern candlesticks is very sleek and attractive, like stylized wine bottles with long necks, each of the three a different height. Very striking, great design.
Each candlestick is stamped with the Spanish star hallmark guaranteeing at least 915 purity silver, as well as a maker’s mark and an import mark.
This set is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The tallest candlestick measures about 11 ¾ inches tall. The medium candlestick is about 10 1/8 inches, while the shortest is about 8 ¼ inches tall.
The total weight for the set is 757 grams or 26.7 regular ounces.There is no weighting in these candlesticks, so all the weight is silver.
