Very beautiful, vintage 1952 “American Character” “Sweet Sue” doll.  She is 21 inches tall, is hard plastic and a walker. When you move her legs, her head goes from side to side.  Shiny blonde glued-on saran wig, blue sleep eyes with full lashes and gorgeous face paint.  She is wearing her original pink satin gown, that has a fitted waist, ruffled sleeves, trimmed with delicate lace, satin rose decorations at the neck and waist. It has a very, very full skirt, that consists of an overskirt attached to the bodice, that is trimmed with lace, bodice snaps in the back and a taffeta underskirt that has a center section of tulle ruffles, with flower/ribbon decorations here and there on the skirt. It has a tulle ruffle around the bottom edge. Original “pearl” wired choker style necklace. She has her original white cotton petticoat, that has lace trim on the bottom edge and is wired around the bottom, to keep its shape.  She has original pink taffeta pantaloons, that have an elastic waist and elastic around the legs. I have added the vintage rose to her hair, have made her a nylon net petticoat, to make her skirt stand out nicely and have added vintage shiny black shoes.  She is in excellent condition, the only issue: two 1/4 inch wide splits in the fabric of the pantaloons.  These are barely noticeable.
